Ingredients
- 3 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup coconut oil
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some extra paper over the sides to help lift the bars out later.
- Add the crispy rice cereal to a large mixing bowl and set it aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil.
- Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each one, until the mixture is fully melted, smooth, and glossy.
- Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the crispy rice cereal.
- Gently fold everything together with a spatula until all the cereal is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- Press it down firmly and evenly into one compact layer using the back of a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate is completely firm.
