So I seasoned the shrimp with the Cajun season and cooked them in butter. I fried the andouille.
I also seasoned the chicken with the Cajun seasoning and sautéed it. I used linguini pasta.
Add the onion, bell pepper, and 1 tablespoon of thyme; sauté in butter for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the red bell pepper and cook for 3 minutes.
Add 1/3 cup reserved cooking liquid from the pasta, salt, and tomatoes; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
Remove saucepan from heat; stir in shrimp/sausage/chicken and pasta.
Stir in heavy cream. Cook 1 minute over medium heat or until heated through.
Sprinkle with thyme. Add Cajun seasoning until the desired taste is achieved.
